Description

Greenwishes, a company specializing in the collection and recycling of office waste, installed a CAETERRA composter on its site at the beginning of 2024. The CAETERRA composting solution was a great success with employees, and Greenwishes went from being a customer to a key CAETERRA partner. This strategic partnership has given rise to a comprehensive and innovative offer for the recovery of corporate biowaste. The CAETERRA composters installed by Greenwishes at its customers' sites enable biowaste to be stored hygienically, thanks to an integrated stirring and aeration system that initiates the composting cycle, for collection only every eight to twelve weeks. Thanks to the Cæterra x Groom solution (collection solution from Greenwishes), companies benefit from more efficient management of their biowaste, with a significant reduction in the environmental impact and costs associated with regular collection.

Impact & Result

The Caeterra x Groom solution enables on-site pre-composting of organic waste, reducing collection frequency and promoting sustainable management. It raises environmental awareness in the workplace and cuts logistics costs. For example, Greenwishes, with 100 employees producing 750 kilos of biowaste annually, only needs four collections per year at a cost of 240 euros, making it eight times cheaper than traditional waste collection.

Solution Spotlight

The CAETERRA range of autonomous stirred composters is a concrete response to the challenges of composting in public spaces and professional environments. Thanks to its robust and durable design, its mixing aeration column and integrated dry matter tank, CAETERRA offers the first 100% mechanical composter, solving in a single object all the nuisances normally associated with composting (odors, rodents, maintenance workload). Using the composter is simple and effective, in just three steps and 15 seconds ! The COMPOST & COLLECT system makes it easy to collect compost, and transforms our composters into hygienic voluntary bio-waste storage points, so as to organize a low-frequency collection every 4 to 12 weeks, which is both more economical and more ecological. At CAETERRA, we rely on French know-how and quality materials. Our entire range is eco-designed and functional. Each installed product avoids the emission of several tons of greenhouse gases.
