Pierre Fabre aimed to offset their beyond-value chain emissions by funding nature regeneration projects. They required a tailored funding strategy based on budget and procurement needs, a portfolio of high-quality projects aligned with their global operations, transparency for public scrutiny (CSRD, SBTi), continuous monitoring and reporting, and agility in supply management to adapt to evolving business needs. Challenges included limited internal expertise in navigating the carbon market, managing diverse projects across three continents with varying data formats and certifiers, and keeping pace with dynamic project evolution and business requirements. Our collaboration involved international procurement, ongoing strategy consulting for sustainable investments, and back-office support for cross-project monitoring, reporting, and supply management. Pierre Fabre sets an example of proactive and transparent leadership in sustainable development.
Pierre Fabre showcases proactive leadership in climate action through our collaboration, achieving over 40,000 tonnes of CO2 removal, regenerating 100+ hectares of nature, and protecting 50+ species. The partnership also led to a 45% budget reduction, access to additional funding, and involvement in high-impact projects with deeptech integration, avoiding greenwashing risks. Automated monitoring and reporting provided ETF savings.
