GardenPump 18 aims at providing clients with a sustainable and profitable option to water their gardens. Good for the environment and better for plants – the cordless GardenPump 18 works easily with all styles of garden rainwater tanks and provides faster and more effective watering around the garden. This Rainwater Pump is perfect for natural and more enjoyable watering of flower beds and fruit and vegetables, or pots and planters. Within the banded area the average household with a water tank should be able collect in excess of 1000 litres of rainwater per annum for garden use. We estimate that there are possibly 6 million water tanks in use in Europe so there is potential to save 6 billion litres of tap grade water. Garden Pump 18 has a similar flow rate to an outside tap so the water saving is actually the key factor. For users who currently use watering cans, this Solution will save considerable time and effort undertaking the watering process.

The Environmental Benefits

  • 10h and 40km saved every year (saved time and distance around the garden for watering activities)
  • 6 billion litres of tap water saved per year
  • 1,8 year of drinkable water saved per year per GardenPump 18V user (= since launched : 50 400 years of drinkable water saved)

The Financial Benefits

  • 10 times cheaper than using a water can with tap
  • Payback time in 2 weeks
  • 2 880€ saved every year per GardenPump 18V user (at least 14 400€ saved during the GP lifetime)
