The environmental benefits

  • Can produce saturated steam at pressures up to 40 bar (standard is 25 bar) and high temperatures up to 400 °C
  • 3000 m² of ground area is enough to install a system with peak thermal capacity of 1 MW
  • A modular solution with less than 27 kg/m² that can be easily integrated into industrial facilities, including rooftop installations, to produce renewable heat using a local resource (the sun)
  • Each kWh of solar generated steam replaces directly 100% of each kWh of the heat produced by conventional fuels
  • 1 kWh of solar steam produced avoids emissions of 216 g of CO2 in comparison to burning natural gas
  • A direct positive environmental impact in the ecosystem and on human health, as it also reduces the emissions of other pollutants such as SOx and NOx

  • Solar fraction (proportion of solar generated heat in the client’s mix) of 10 to 50 % can be achieved, depending on the customer's demand profile and available solar irradiation
  • Reduced dependency on fossil fuels and the impact of the increase in prices with locked prices of solar generated heat for 25 years
