The Ziya toilet solution makes the use of a dry toilet in an ordinary home accessible. Ziya looks like a flush toilet, Ziya has the same functionality as a flush toilet, so it is an ecological toilet that looks like an ordinary toilet. To be noted: Human faeces, obtained from dry on-site sanitation systems, can successfully be turned into valuable input (fertilizer) to be re-used in the local agro-ecological systems (Kelova et al., 2021).
