By utilising advanced technical ceramics and completely eliminating the need for a cooling system, Carnot has achieved an unparalleled 70% thermal efficiency, twice that of a current state of the art fossil fuel engine. By maximising the work developed from fuel, we can either more than half emissions using existing fuels and make fuels of the future much more accessible and cost effective. Using the solution, it would be possible to accelerate the decarbonising journey for many applications plus accelerating the deployment of hydrogen, ammonia, methanol or bio-fuels by providing demand at scale that is capable of using fuels of the future. The technology is a multi-gigaton emission reduction potential technology that reduces costs for operators 35% plus accelerates the deployment of net zero fuels.
