Identification
As a global population, we produce approximately 3,5 million tons of waste every day. A significant portion of this waste is disposable plastic packaging. Only approx. 3 percent of disposable tableware and take-away food packaging is recycled.
Biotrem products are created exclusively from natural raw materials of plant origin, already available in large quantities, which are by-products or leftovers of the agricultural and food industries. Main product line is fully biodegradable disposable tableware produced from the compressed wheat bran. 1 ton of wheat bran can be transformed into over 10.000 plates, bowls or cups. Wheat bran-based disposable products are environmentally friendly and fully compostable (no industrial composting required) within just 30 days. Biotrem products are an important and effective response to the problem of plastic waste threatening the natural environment.
