The AWG (Atmospheric Water Generation) units are locally designed, developed and manufactured based on Cape Town climatic conditions. It reduces the costs of infrastructure needed to supply drinking water: the place of production and consumption is the same. Their largest unit is able to supply 1000L of water per day. This system is able to eliminate purchasing of plastic bottled water thereby providing on site water production. There is no drilling risk or no borehole depletion. It can be implemented under large range of climate conditions.
