Identification

ACTIV HOME provides a large-scale manufacturing solution producing bio-sourced construction elements displaying high thermal, hydric and acoustic performances.

Addressing two of the main challenges linked with straw constructions - difficulty to scale up the production and poor economic performance - ACTIV HOME uses straw bales to fill wood structures to increase efficiency and avoid costly manual filling. Basing their manufacturing solution on the use of square straw bales of universal size (37cm x 47 cm), ACTIV HOME's machines can be used all around the world with the resources at hand. Although the machines have been designed to be easily operated by inexperienced workers. ACTIV HOME delivers an economic and performant solution for the sustainable construction industry all around the world, targeting small, medium and large enterprises.
