ACC Gold Water Shield cement is an innovative building material product for home builders. Its special silane based additives are uniformly mixed in precise dosage in technologically superior plant facilities. It shields houses and inhabitants from issues such as dampness and seepage and is more eco-friendly (compared to OPC), thus assisting them in building, long lasting homes and an everlasting planet. Its commercial viability and clear customer need given Indian climatic conditions make it an ideal choice for using in independent family homes. While the lower CO2 emissions contribute significantly towards moving the market to climate friendly building materials, its water repellency reduces ingress of moisture & water into the building structure which enhances durability .

The environmental benefits
- •Modified Portland Pozzolana Cement and Composite Cement with upto 0.55% silicone based additives
- •Estimated 50% reduction in water permeance tested as per water permeability test DIN 1048-(V)
- •Savings from the low clinker factor of the ACC Gold Watershield cement (~65%) when it replaces standard OPC cement (~95% clinker factor) which leads to further savings in the order of ~30% per tonne of cement used in the building construction
