O caso do condomínio Demiivka-V demonstra claramente os benefícios económicos e ambientais da implementação do serviço Recycle. Antes de adotar esta solução, o condomínio não dispunha de quaisquer meios de triagem ou transferência de materiais recicláveis para uma reciclagem adequada. Como resultado, todos os resíduos domésticos - independentemente da sua composição - eram recolhidos pelos serviços municipais e enviados diretamente para os aterros. Com a introdução do serviço Recycle, o condomínio conseguiu reduzir significativamente os resíduos depositados em aterro, otimizar as práticas de gestão de resíduos e contribuir para um processo de eliminação de resíduos mais sustentável e económico.
Depois de aderir ao serviço Reciclar, o condomínio registou um benefício mensal de cerca de 150 euros, combinando o rendimento da venda de materiais recicláveis e a poupança na recolha de resíduos. A nível ambiental, evitou ainda 1.814 kg de emissões de CO₂ ao devolver os materiais à economia circular.
Recycle is a digital platform that enables efficient, transparent, and inclusive recycling services by connecting households, condominiums, and small businesses with certified recycling and waste collection partners. Recycle introduces an innovative marketplace model to the recycling sector, enabling households and small businesses to not only dispose of waste, but also to sell recyclable materials in small quantities — something previously economically unfeasible. Traditionally, the sale of secondary raw materials (such as cardboard, PET bottles, or metals) has been limited to large-scale suppliers due to the high logistical costs associated with collection and transport. Recycle disrupts this model by aggregating small-volume pickups through a digital order pool and intelligent routing system that allows recycling companies and hauliers to optimise logistics, reduce operational costs, and efficiently serve distributed customers.
