El caso del condominio Demiivka-V demuestra claramente los beneficios tanto económicos como medioambientales de la implantación del servicio Recycle. Antes de adoptar esta solución, el condominio carecía de cualquier medio de clasificación o transferencia de materiales reciclables para su correcto reciclaje. Como resultado, todos los residuos domésticos -independientemente de su composición- eran recogidos por los servicios municipales y enviados directamente a los vertederos. Al introducir el servicio Recycle, el condominio pudo reducir significativamente los residuos destinados a vertederos, optimizar las prácticas de gestión de residuos y contribuir a un proceso de eliminación de residuos más sostenible y rentable.
Tras unirse al servicio Recycle, el condominio obtuvo un beneficio mensual de unos 150 euros, combinando los ingresos por la venta de materiales reciclables y el ahorro en la recogida de residuos. Desde el punto de vista medioambiental, también evitó 1.814 kg de emisiones de CO₂ al devolver materiales a la economía circular.
Recycle is a digital platform that enables efficient, transparent, and inclusive recycling services by connecting households, condominiums, and small businesses with certified recycling and waste collection partners. Recycle introduces an innovative marketplace model to the recycling sector, enabling households and small businesses to not only dispose of waste, but also to sell recyclable materials in small quantities — something previously economically unfeasible. Traditionally, the sale of secondary raw materials (such as cardboard, PET bottles, or metals) has been limited to large-scale suppliers due to the high logistical costs associated with collection and transport. Recycle disrupts this model by aggregating small-volume pickups through a digital order pool and intelligent routing system that allows recycling companies and hauliers to optimise logistics, reduce operational costs, and efficiently serve distributed customers.
