After years of collaboration with the European Commission (EC), we recently launched an equivalence between the Efficient Solution Label selection process and EC prestigious and selective grant program EIC Accelerator Phase II (former SME II).
What? This Equivalence recognises that the requirements of the EIC Accelerator phase II program selection and the SIF Efficient Solution Label are partly equivalent to one another.
Why? EC and SIF join forces to provide extra value (visibility, credibility, and business development opportunities) to projects that were previously selected by the EC program over the past 5 years.
How? The three criteria (Excellence, Impact and Implementation) and seven sub-criteria of the EIC Accelerator phase II selection process have been “matched” with 4 out of 5 criteria of the SIF Label evaluation process.
As a result, only the Environmental benefits criterion will be evaluated by the pool of external independent Experts to deliberate on the Solar Impulse Efficient Solution Label’s attribution.
