VUF Bikes - Electrically assisted cargo bikes for professionals operating in urban areas or on tourist and industrial sites

VUF is a brand of cargo bikes whose objective is to decarbonize the business of professionals operating in town centres or on closed sites with motorized vehicles. These are three-wheeled bicycles equipped with electric assistance, robust, compact and 100% modular, specific to the transport of large loads and volumes (up to 250kg for a volume of 1.7m3) in urban areas, industrial and all-terrain. They are equipped with boxes, bins, and / or trailers. This high level of modularity allows us to meet a multitude of uses: transport of equipment, collection of waste, cleanliness of roads, management of green spaces, maintenance, delivery of packages/meals/lessons, etc. Twenty times lighter and six times more compact than a light commercial vehicle (LCV) for equivalent quantities of loads, volumes or people transported. The VUF is a response to urban decongestion.

Key features

  • VUF is equipped with an internally developed pendulum steering, which makes it possible to correct slopes and prevent the load from tipping over in bends - comfortable, safe and similar to a two-wheeled bicycle
  • VUF is very modular thanks to its removable fixing plate & its hitch ball, which allow it to be equipped with body, bin or trailer depending on the activity and the need
  • The VUF, in addition to electric assist, has a dual transmission allowing it to tow more load than a normal cargo bike effortlessly
  • A light commercial vehicle (LCV) emits 25 kg of CO2 equivalent per day - replacing them with bike-cargo solutions would eliminate these emissions and help reduce pollution by 99% / km.
  • With ≈ 6 times smaller environmental footprint than a motor vehicle for equivalent quantities of loads, volumes or people transported, VUF is a solution for urban decongestion
  • Replacing LCVs with cargo bikes would eliminate noise pollution calculated at 150 decibels per LCV

  • In LCV, the delivery person spends 25% of the time in an urban environment is spent in traffic making VUF 4 times faster
  • On a cargo bike, the cost of use is divided by 10 and the cost of purchase by 3
