Routing Engine for Electric Vehicles - A smart EV Routing as an API-based SaaS platform, making charging and driving EVs effortless and efficient for drivers and fleets
The electric mobility ecosystem is extremely fragmented. It is complicated for individual drivers and fleet operators to drive EVs effortlessly over long distances, across borders, or use them with high commercial intensity. This is because on-route charging is complex due to the different standards in plug-type, charge power, payment systems, waiting-lines, variable charge speeds, and outside variables like temperature, weather, topography, that impact the range of a battery. Traditional routing engines cannot deal with all these additional variables. This solution seeks to overcome this challenge by providing an EV routing engine that makes EVs predictable. The routing algorithm considers 15 static and dynamic variables to calculate the best route to a driver's destination and identifies the optimal charge stations in between. The routing engine is exposed through a GraphQL API that is easy to integrate into existing consumer navigation and telemetric fleet applications.
