Petrel Circular Commerce - Provides zero waste consulting, process implementation and operations management for retailers and food manufacturers.
Petrel supports retailers and manufacturers in their transition to a circular management of their packaging.
Popularized before the 1980s and then overshadowed by the massive use of single-use and disposable plastic, the deposit system, brought up to date by the Loop project, created a disruption in modern consumption patterns. In addition to protecting the environment by reducing plastic waste, the deposit system offers innovative, high-quality and sustainable packaging. With a Zero Waste as a Service solution, Petrel is integrating Loop project within Carrefour. Petrel mission is to supervise the reverse logistic of packagings, manage the customer refund and provide customer support. Furthermore, Petrel also supports a mission of social inclusion. It developed and managed returnable bags that are checked, cleaned, folded and counted by inmates in prison as part of a reintegration program. These bags are then returned into Carrefour warehouses in order to be reused. These circular processes are able to be applied within many BtoB / BtoC manufacturers and retailers.
