Electro Contaminant Removal (ECR) System - Compact and modular chemical-free coagulation and flocculation treatment for industrial waste water

Clean water is an essential part of everyday life, but water systems are often highly polluted with organic and inorganic pollutants. This Solution provides a chemical-free alternative to treat highly contaminated industrial waste water. The Electro Contaminant Removal (ECR) uses electricity and metal electrodes to coagulate contaminants present in waste water, allowing them to be easily removed as sludge, resulting in cleaner water being produced and returned to the environment. The treatment process is continuous and is completed within 3 minutes. The switch from chemical treatment to ECR allows factories to discharge cleaner water while generating significantly less sludge. Sludge generated by the ECR treatment process is safe for direct landfilling. Furthermore, the ECR removes multiple contaminants in a single process, eliminating the challenges and high cost incurred from using multiple chemicals. Being a chemical-free solution, the ECR provides a safer work environment for wastewater treatment plant operators.
