EDN® Fumigas - A broad spectrum, non-ozone depleting and non-green house fumigant

EDN® limits the risks of pests and disease spreading within the agricultural and timber industry and provides an alternative to harmful fumigants.

The market needs viable alternatives to conventional fumigation gases such as methyl bromide, which is being phased out globally due to its ozone-depleting substances. EDN® is an ozone-friendly alternative to methyl bromide. The advantages of EDN® include better penetration characteristics, higher efficacy and shorter application time. This Solution can be used to disinfect soil and control insects, diseases, nematodes, weeds and other parasites in a targeted manner before planting fruit, vegetables, turf and ornamental crops. It can also be used to fumigate harvested timber and logs to eliminated wood-boring insects in timber, as well as pathogens and nematodes, which present a major bio-security risk to many importing countries.

Key features

  • Completely non ozone depleting agent compared to methyl bromide
  • No Global Warming Potential (GWP), unlike large GWP of mainstream alternative
