ECOSTERYL - Green high-tech solutions to decontaminate and recycle infectious medical waste by using only electricity

The Ecosteryl Solution is capable of decontaminating and recycling all sorts of infectious medical waste by using only electricity. The process starts with a powerful shredding of waste, including solids, plastics, pathological, sharps and metals, as well as liquids and any other elements considered as medical waste; which is then decontaminated thanks to the action of microwaves and electrical resistors; to finally obtain a dry by-product that can be recycled on account of an air injection separation and a laser optical sorting line. The system does not generate any polluting emissions (no discharge of water, fumes, chemicals, or gases), this way avoiding health risks indirectly created through the release of pathogens and toxic contaminants into the environment when using traditional technologies like the incineration. By eliminating the hazardous nature of waste, this solution will be essential to face epidemics such as the recent worldwide COVID-19, thus preventing potential public health and environmental crises.
