DOMESPACE - A round, wooden, intelligent and sustainable dome house that turns with the sun

DOMESPACE is bio-sourced wooden dome that absorbs CO2 and orients for optimizing its performance.

The house is all made of bio-sourced wood that absorbs tones of CO2 depending on its size (1m3 of wood can absorbs 1T of CO2). The amount of MJ needed to produce wood is minor compared to its used references in the buildings construction sector. The spherical shape is conceived to minimise the energy spent to regulate the inside of the house's temperature. With its harmonious look "fitted for nature", the dome's structure of the house is coupled with an incorporated system that combines an optimised thermal regulation through rotation with a sealing insulation.
