Circular Explorer - An energy self-serviced boat built to actively collect plastic garbage out of the water to recycle waste

The Circular Explorer aims to tackle one of the world's biggest environmental challenges: plastic. By collecting, sorting, re- and upcycling plastic waste from rivers and coastal areas, the Circular Explorer contributes to healthier marine ecosystems and engages with local partners for the most impactful and sustainable recycling solutions. Powered by solar energy, no emissions are generated during the process. But that's not where the work of the Circular Explorer stops. Through a dedicated educational and scientific program, awareness of the circular economy is built, insights for better waste management are gained and communities around the world are engaged to reduce waste in the first place.
