Amni® - The first polyamide yarn in the world with enhanced biodegradability offering the ability for biodegradable clothing.
Amni Soul Eco® is the first polyamide 6.6 yarn in the world with enhanced biodegradability offering the ability for garments to degrade ten times faster than conventional polyamides making fashion truly eco-sustainable.
The secret of Amni Soul Eco® is its enhanced 6.6 polyamide formula, allowing for the use of garments which decompose rapidly after they have been discarded and landfilled. When disposed of in landfills Amni Soul eco yarn degrades in around five years while other synthetics fibers take decades to decompose. Amni Soul Eco® thus substantially reduces the impact on the environment and the amount of waste which is passed on to future generations. It helps to safeguard the environment because it helps reduce to a minimum the impact from the textile industry on nature and to make the world better for future generations. Amni Soul Eco® may be used in all segments of the textile industry: lingerie and underwear, hosiery, beach- and sportswear, casual, jeanswear and fashion per se.
