About

Designed to meet circular principles. Yangi® developed by The Loop Factory is a manufacturing technology for dry formed cellulose-based packaging. The innovation with Yangi® is to utilise cellulose fibres for 3D-formed packaging without dissolving the fibres in water and is a result of more than more than 10 years of R&D work. By combining two different technology platforms it is possible to go from paper pulp into ready made packaging, using minimal amounts of water. With its unique set up, Yangi has a role in facilitating the transition from single use plastic packaging and enables climate savings of -75 % CO2-eq, conservatively measured, compared to existing plastic solutions.   Yangi® DF Technology meets existing needs and trends on the packaging market where there is a strong demand for more sustainable solutions and future proof systems. Yangi® solution offers a viable alternative for an industry that is looking to improve on its current linear and non-renewable models.
