We sell in Benelux & Germany plants for the intensive cultivation of Algamoil to sequestrate CO2 and produce biofuel.

I will to explain you our ALGAMOIL technology more in details, just be aware that all the numbers are related to a typical installation which includes a greenhouse of 1 hectare (10.000 square meters) and it’s infrastructure, also more or less 1 hectare, which includes : reception, offices, bathroom, laboratory. But also the technical machinery like centrifuges, tricanters, filters for reverse osmosis. Then another structure to host 4 fermentors of 100 m3 each. We need also tanks for the incoming, CO2 and liquid organic waste, and also tanks to stock the outcoming, dry leftover and biofuel. By the end we need roads to enable trucks to run inside the plant and, of course, a balance. The alga is ours, patented, ALGAMOIL, which is composed by 50% of lipids, as well as the photobioreactors are, and also the industrial proceeding as a closed circuit, it means that the algaes will never met the ambient air. The first step is called the autotrophic phase and it consist on the following : we force the photosyntesis inside big tubes, 60 cm diameter for 4,5 meters high (this parameter is standard but not fixed, we can start from 2 meters up to 8 meters), this tube is provided with sunny LED light right in it’s middle. We inject the CO2 mixed with air and this cause a vortex inside the pipe and the algae, which is monocellar, will start to reproduce the way as the monocellars do : 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32…and so on. Inside of 1 hectare tall greenhouse there will be 2.500 tubes, more exactly called : photobioreactor, for a total amount of nearly 3.000.000 liters of water. This proceeding runs during the day and during the night hours all the photobioreactos will be empty by 90%, the water will be at first centrifuged to separate it from the algaes, then filtered and will go back to the photobioreactors to start another day of production. For 1 hectare we need more or less 10.000 tons per year of CO2, the daily production is not less than 4 grams of algaes per liter of water. The second step is called heterotrophic phase and it consist on the following : after the separation of the algaes from the water we put them inside the fermentors for 4 days and we feed them with liquid organic waste (at the moment we detected more than 450 and they include, for example : manure of chicken, residual from breweries, from cheese factories, dairies, and many others, except pig manure and human waste). In this phase the algaes at least multiply their biomass by 2, but we can reach x5, it depends on the quality of the nutriments. We need 10.000 / 15.000 tons per year of nutriments, the big difference it’s just on which one is available and it’s quality. Again we centrifuge, again the water goes back to the photobioreactors. Then we separate the lipids from the algaes with an electrocution. Pulsar method. By the end we will have 3.000 tons per year of biofuel and the same of dry leftover. The 3.000 tons are under warranty production. The european refineries are paying by contract 950 Euros per ton of biofuel, the dry leftover can be sold as animal feed, fertilizer, can be used by biogas station to ferment it, or can be sold as raw material for the production of bioplastic, even biocompostable. In any case, normally, we are ready to buy it at 250 Euros per ton. The staff needed is about three non-specialized workers and a part-time biologist, one of them can easily take care of 4 / 5 installations at the same time. This because every phase is controlled by us by remote. If something goes wrong, like if the content of a photobioreactor is contaminated, we can intervene because we are operational 7/24. Of course the remote can be followed by an handy, a tablet or a note book also by the owner of the installation.
