About

Nenu is a social impact enterprise that produces and distributes energy saving cook stoves that emits 60% less toxic smoke and burns 65% less charcoal. In 4 years (and by bootstrapping), the company has produced and distributed over 45,000 energy saving stoves through a network of distributors and retailers in Nigeria. Nenu relies on locally sourced materials and a vertical integration approach to produce and distribute stoves that offers excellent charcoal savings at a price range of (between $16 and $23). Nenu is currently seeking 1 million Euros to produce and distribute about 600 thousand energy saving cook stoves to household. And the project expects to become financially sustainable within 12 months.
