About

The Hydro-fi Gambia Initiative is a for-profit tech-driven start-up in its embryonic stage. It aims to use clean renewable energy in The Gambia to solve the country's socio-economic issues and the looming energy demands facing the country. Whilst creating economic opportunity for a passive decentralized income stream for the duration of up to twenty years. The HGI platform will be an online crowd sale network platform that will bring together the ordinary citizens of The Gambia alongside private investors around the world in the purchasing of solar cells. The impact and vision of the HGI initiative will be that the monetization of solar energy will add a new economic investment sector in The Gambia. Transforming the landscape into a nation of passive incomers rather than consumerism. Through the exploitation of the Sun’s energy, the HGI platform will help reduce the regional carbon emissions in the country gradually. Thus, impacting all core initiatives objectives. Economically, sociological, and technologically.
