About

GKinetic's unique patented technology concept consists of two vertical axis turbines placed on either side of a tear-drop shaped vessel, the 'Bluff Body'. The shape of this vessel combined with the custom 'Blade Pitch Control System' accelerates flowing water into the turbines to generate the maximum amount of energy to end users. The technology is fully scalable from 100kW to 1MW and can be deployed floating or fully submerged beneath the surface without requiring expensive civil works. Hydrokinetic power exists in the world's oceans, rivers and estuaries and is a predictable resource that is largely untapped. The GKinetic turbine is a viable renewable energy solution for communities globally to help reach carbon targets, replace diesel generators or for areas where other renewable energy options are not feasible.
