The aim of the association is to promote « The Eco – responsible Pleasure cruising » and the « BLUE OCEAN » project !

The BLUE OCEAN project is the construction of a 45-foot sailing yacht specially designed to meet the environmental challenges of the 21th Century. / - Eco-designed, with the desire to reduce its environmental impact / - Using the latest materials to protect the environment / - Waste management during the building stage / - Recyclable and Reusable at the end of life / - Long-term test will be carried out during the world circumnavigation / - Energy self-sufficiency by using only renewable energies / - Minimizing the release of pollutants and waste during the boat maintenance / - Waste management on board / The Objective - The seas and oceans of our planet represent 70% of its surface and produce 50% of the oxygen necessary for life. An URGENT action is needed to preserve the aquatic ecosystem if we want to avoid the degradation of ecosystems and biodiversity. / The BLUE OCEAN concept is a collaborative project which brings together various partners from different fields, such as technological, industrial, scientific, academic, and financial partners, but also associations and organizations. / The concept combines the ecological and economical importance in the construction of pleasure yachts with the objective of initiating an ecological transition in pleasure boating and the Yachting industry. / We want the innovative concept of this “Ambassador” to become “Number 1” of a dynamic manufacturing chain, in partnership with forward-looking companies ready to become involved and ensure the continuation of this project. / The Mission - Eco Sail the World Association and its partners coordinate the missions - The innovative construction of an eco-friendly sailing yacht / - Raise the Yachting Industry’s awareness for BLUE OCEAN eco-friendly project / - By encouraging sailors to be more eco-friendly / - Educational and recreational cruises / - Educational delegations to the preservation of the maritime environment / - Conferences on national and international boat shows and meetings
