ALGAMATER® WWTP is an innovative wastewater, leachate and aquaculture treatment plants.
Bluemater’s exclusive bioremediation and CO2 capture system. It uses only biological treatment processes including polishing by microalgae. The main components of the treatment line are modular and available to be integrated in existing or new alternative systems. Developed by Bluemater in collaboration with Amorim Cork Composites, CORK FLOATING ISLAND® is specially designed for bioremediation in wetlands, rivers and dams but also used as phyto-based pond wastewater treatment and hydroponics. The support structure is made of cork, which makes it a sustainable and durable solution in addition to create an aesthetically pleasing aspect.

Description
Biological tower for the most efficient, compact, and low-cost sustainable treatment of industrial gases & odours

We are looking for an industrial partner to join our SME Instrument European program. The SYCONair project was envisioned over the need of many industries in sustainably treating gases and odours produced during their operational activities. The unwanted production of pollutant gases such as ammonia (NH3), hydrogen sulphide (H2S), volatile organic compounds (VOC), nitrous oxide (N2O), and methane (CH4) compromise the quality of emissions from industrial units such as factories, wastewater treatment plants, solid waste treatment, agriculture, and composting. Facing this challenge, the SYCONair technology was developed into a prismatic tower for the biological treatment of gases and odours through a percolation process. The technology has many advantages when compared to the traditional biological solutions available on the market, such as higher efficiency, less operational costs, less space required, and a unique modularity which allows it to be constructed in varied sizes according to the treatment needs of each potential client, guaranteeing a high flexibility for customization.
