Biophenol is french start-up developing a fractionation process that extract phenolic compounds out of pyrolysis wood bio-oil. Theses phenolic compounds can substitute phenol in phenolic resin manufacturing (and the phenolic resin itself) used in plywood manufacturing and substitute 100% Bisphenol A of resin epoxy. Our raw materials and our innovative fraction process allow us to be competitive with the current petrol based chemicals.
